Ice maker
Hollow cubes
Ice is thin, crescent-shaped, or mostly air.
What this usually means
Hollow cubes usually mean the mold is not filling. The valve is weak, the filter is restricted, or the fill time is short.
What we typically check
- Fill volume into the mold
- Inlet valve and water pressure
- Filter restriction
- Fill-tube freeze that cuts the shot short
