Refrigerator
Ice buildup
Frost on the back wall, in the freezer section, or around the vents.
What this usually means
Heavy frost usually means the defrost system is not keeping up, a damper is stuck, or warm air is leaking in through a gasket or door that is not closing.
What we typically check
- Defrost heater, thermostat, and sensor
- Evaporator fan and frost pattern
- Door seals and how often the doors stay open
- Drain line ice that is backing water into the cabinet
$89 diagnostic / service call fee, applied toward the repair if you move forward. Repair work is quoted after diagnosis — we do not publish parts or labor prices online. Call or text (480) 881-4759 if you want to talk it through first.
